Planet Heart is more than a foundation. It is a movement and an art collective committed to empowering our youths, so they can share their stories and pursue their dreams.
MISSION & HISTORY.
Planet Heart Foundation is a Non-Government organisation registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Its aim is to empower children and youths through arts programmes and educational scholarships.
Since 2011, Planet Heart Foundation has ran several programmes around the theme of “waste” (un-harnessed personal talent, as well as physical waste) in Lagos (Ajegunle, Oshodi, Bariga and Obalende) and in Port Harcourt. The BornTroWay Academy team was invited to the World Climate Conference in Durban, South Africa to work on the theme of “water” in conjunction with the 17th Conference of Parties (COP17) for the United Nations Framework for Climate Change.
